My Bio
I am a traditional artist who mainly works in charcoals and oils. I also have experience with pastels, acrylics, sculpting mediums, and digital applications. I began my artistic journey when I was five or six. During my undergraduate life I received a bachelor of arts in graphic design and after graduate school I received a masters in fine arts in children's book illustration. Since then I have focused most of my attention towards a fine art career and have exhibited in galleries and shows around the country. My work is also displayed in public and private collections.

Thank you all for the faves and watches. I am not great with communication so if I have not responded to a question or thanked you for a fave, please don't take it personally. Just finished my first children's book and it should be published in July. The illustrations look nothing like the work currently on DA but they are still cool. Anyways if you see Terrance the Trapezoid at your book store pick one up for yourself or if you have a son, daughter, nephew, monkey, or dog.

I love your art, but I have to ask how you do the sepia-toned pictures. Do you use charcoal to fill in the negative space on a brown paper? Either way, very incredible.
